A precision-engineered grouted sleeve coupler for full-strength rebar continuity at precast and cast-in-situ joints - no torquing, no welding, just a reliable grouted connection.
A Grout Coupler is a cast iron or forged steel sleeve into which deformed reinforcing bars are inserted from both ends. The annular cavity between the bar and the sleeve is then filled with high-strength non-shrink cementitious grout, creating a permanent, full-capacity mechanical splice.
Unlike threaded mechanical couplers, the grout coupler requires no bar preparation, no threading, and no torquing. The connection is especially suited to precast construction where bars may project at slight angles or where access for mechanical tightening is restricted.
Kridhan Infratech's Grout Couplers are manufactured to IS 16172 and ISO 15835 standards, ensuring full tensile and compressive strength transfer compliant with IS 456 and seismic zone requirements.
Grout Couplers eliminate the need for bar threading, torque wrenches, and precise bar alignment - delivering a faster, simpler, and equally strong structural connection.
Request QuoteNo torquing required - grouted connection eliminates mechanical tightening.
Accommodates bar misalignment of up to ±3° - ideal for precast erection.
Full tensile strength transfer achieved through high-strength non-shrink grout.
Compatible with all deformed rebar grades - Fe 415, Fe 500, Fe 500D, Fe 550.
Sleeve remains on bar during transport and erection, simplifying site logistics.
Grout port and vent hole ensure complete cavity filling and easy inspection.
No special tools or skilled labour required for installation.
Performs reliably in seismic zones - tested for cyclic loading.
Reduces reinforcement congestion at joints compared to lap splices.
Suitable for both precast and cast-in-situ applications.
Grout Couplers are the preferred splice solution wherever bars cannot be threaded or torqued.
Connects precast column segments to cast-in-situ bases or to each other, ensuring full structural continuity.
Joins precast shear walls to floor slabs and foundations for moment-resisting and lateral-load connections.
Provides a reliable moment connection between precast beams and columns without welding.
Connects starter bars projecting from pile caps or raft foundations to precast column bases.
Used in tunnel lining segments where conventional mechanical couplers cannot be torqued in confined conditions.
Enables fast, reliable rebar continuity at bridge pier construction joints in segmental bridge construction.
